Description

18 FORTRESS volunteers visited the Senior Citizen Centre (Kowloon City) of the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society to celebrate Chinese New Year with the elderly there. Volunteers also educated the elders about household electronic safety via mini-games and short talk. FORTRESS volunteers then made a home visit to elders with low income or living alone, giving out Fortress ceramic heaters and induction cookers to bring them warmth and care in the cold winter.

The home appliance donation programme will be rotated to different district each year to benefit more elders in need.
