20 volunteers from PARKnSHOP joined a Beach Clean-up Day on 7 May, where they, along with their friends and relatives, helped collect trash off the beaches of Lung Kwu Tan and Tuen Mun and sorted them for further treatment. Prizes were awarded for the largest amount of trash collected, the largest amount of recyclables collected as well as the weirdest trash collected. In just one day, nearly 85kg of trash and over 47kg of recyclables were picked up.
